Security - protect your output
Any serious business transactions today involve critical and confidential documents that at some point will need to be printed, copied or scanned. It is therefore crucial that your printer environment ensures impeccably secure print services. Many organizations, such as law firms, insurance companies or banks, are obligated by law to protect their output against unauthorized users. But print security is not only about documents.Securing your printers, scanners, copy machines and fax machines against unauthorized or unregistered use will also secure your expenses and your company’s output channels. Your devices should limit themselves to authenticated users, and your system should automatically register all their print activities.
A company using secure print, copy and scan is a company in control of its output, and one that customers will trust with their data and private information.
SafeCom Smart Printing provides high security on shared network printers and multi function devices by making them function as personal printers. SafeCom Pull Print sends all printed documents to the print server where they are encrypted. Your documents are then safely confined on the server until the document owner walks up to a printer and authenticates through one of many log-in methods and selects the specific documents to be printed.
Highly sensitive solutions can be implemented with encryption all the way from the PC to the printer, thereby guarding against network interceptions. On multi-server and remote location installations, departing users can activate print of their documents before they leave and retrieve the printout when they arrive at the regional office, avoiding the risks involved in travelling with sensitive documents.

“
The user can print to the database at any time, but the document is not printed onto paper before the user is standing at the printer typing in his user code. This way integrity is held very high.
