Strathmore University wanted to reduce the number of devices as well as control fleet costs and introduce confidential printing and print mobility to aid its 50 per cent cost reduction strategy.

Approach:

  • Implemented an HP Channel Led Pay-Per-Use solution
  • Deployed HP 9040 Multifunction Printers (MFPs) across the campus to consolidate print/copy/scan funtions and eliminate personal desktop printers
  • HP Web Jetadmin software implemented for management of fleet
  • Deployed SafeCom Pull Printing software
